Silver Peak is known for its open bowls, amazing tree skiing, and quiet location. It is a hidden gem in our area that holds good powder skiing and spring descents.
This is an intermediate/advanced ski tour for folks who have previous backcountry ski or splitboard experience and advanced downhill skills. Multiple days of backcountry trips along with an Intro to Backcountry Course and as AIARE 1 avalanche course are recommended. We will be climbing 2500-3500' throughout the day with over 5 miles in distance to get to the goods. Participants must be in good physical condition. Your guide will go through a trip plan with you with the current avalanche conditions and weather forecast to find the best snow and terrain available.
